The piece became famous by the soundtrack of Stanley Kubrick&#8217;s &#8216;Eyes Wide Shut&#8217; movie as well as by its performance by the world famous (Dutch) Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Since Bill Haley&#8217;s &#8220;Rock around the Clock&#8221; is from 1956 as well, this Walz is not classical at all.<br>To me, it always brings &#8217;round visions&#8217;, of balls, things bouncing around and a merry-go-round going wild.
