Photorealistic Computer Imaging using Vue, Poser and more

Landscapes

PanoramasOutdoor scenes, Architecture, Indoor shots and more, using software like Vue and some Bryce and mojoWorld too.

Portraits

Facials, body shots, group takes and scenes mainly done in Poser, some with DazStudio, some with special rendering (LuxRender, Octane).
Warning / hint: some artistic nudity ahead.

Animation

From hyper-slideshows to real shorts, from outdoor fly-by’s to dance events, as long as it takes music and movement: I’m happy.
There are some oldies too.

Early Works

Pro’s never do it on their site, but I’m happy to show some growth over the years.
– From old site logo’s (3DS Max)
– To scenes using any software around,
– And some animations too.

Dmytry’s Planet (shots)

Dmytry’s planet panoramas were made with the MojoWorld generator, deploying Dmytry’s volumetrics plugin. MojoWorld generates entire planets (terrains, clouds, oceans, forests, …) in 3D, eventually animated as well. From that planet, various shots were rendered. Click a thumbnail above, and enjoy the shots. You can switch to slideshow-mode as well. Some of the shots were then assembled into two full 360* panoramas, which you can see here and here. aRtBee 2008

Early Shorts

In 2003 / 2004 I got the inspiration fro creating two shorts, 3 to 4 minutes each, using Cinema4D. The ‘blocks’ version of Mirror in Mirror came first. I learned the basics of object, light and camera variation, and could do my final titling in 3D as well. Some scenes appeared to reflection intense, and so calculation intense that they took a whole day per frame. check out the Low Res / High Res version of this short The ‘smart’ version of…

The Olde Works

Some years ago I decided to start focusing on just a few pieces of software: Poser, Vue and Photoshop. Before that, I wandered around and used all sorts of kit. Not that productive, but not that bad either. Here’s some overview.

Old Site Logo’s

One day, in the previous century, I created my first website. It used graphic icons instead of menus, and they turned from B/W to color when the mouse hovered over. Here they are, in ‘still’ format.
